My journey as a Rainmaking Consultant didn’t begin with immediate triumphs, but with years of consulting experience that allowed me to leverage all the lessons I learned along the way. With over 20 years of working with attorneys—consulting them on their cases and providing the right resources within professional services firms—I’ve shaped my approach to help attorneys convert relationships into revenue.

My career began in 2003, and although I didn’t start as a rainmaking consultant, my experiences consulting attorneys at firms like Deloitte and Navigant helped me see the power of authentic connections. In my consulting work, I provided attorneys with strategic guidance on how to approach complex cases, built tailored solutions based on each firm’s needs, and connected them to the resources required for success. Early on, I faced the challenge of 800 meetings over two years without direct results. A pivotal piece of advice from a friend changed everything: “Be yourself; that’s who people want to work with.” I embraced this authenticity, transforming how I engaged with attorneys and how I built relationships.

This shift wasn’t just a change in approach—it was a transformation in how I connected with people. Authenticity became the foundation of my rainmaking strategies, enabling me to build genuine, lasting relationships that have helped my clients exceed their goals and build powerful books of business.
